Immunotherapy is one of the newer treatments. It has definitely advanced medical care for cancer patients. Immunotherapy is designed to use a patient's own Immune System to fight the cancer. It also only kills the cancerous cells instead of both which is a newer, and not all treatment option are able to do this.
